Joseph Riden,

Joseph Riden directs Solid Advantage, a Solid Edge Voyager Partner that provides design engineering, product development, and Solid Edge implementation consulting.  Joseph’s design and management background spans 25 years, including stints at Cray Research and Raytheon. He has produced designs for industrial computers, mainframe electromechanical packaging, cryogenic pumps, biomedical devices, industrial machines, manufacturing tooling, and a unique system for framing buildings.  One of his designs – an I-Bus industrial computer -- was selected as a Solid Edge success story.  Joseph has given presentations at 3 Solid Edge Summit annual conferences, and at a Regional User meeting.  Several years of CAD management experience developed Joseph’s practical expertise with myriad issues of Solid Edge implementation.  He has contributed numerous articles to the magazine “Solid Edge Community.” He founded the first Solid Edge User Group in San Diego, CA.  After hours, Joseph relaxes on his 42 foot classic trawler, Sequoia -- his home office in upper Puget Sound.
